i love desktop pcs, but also like to use a computer while i am travelling. so a netbook is too small, a desktop doesnt work. the solution is my 15″ laptop. only the battery is not that well

I think maybe it is good to just have a desktop because you can draw a line between beeing online and offline. Maybe thats helps your to stay healthy too!

My first laptop purchase was definitely my best computer purchase! It helped me believe that I could manage starting a business from home with three kids to still look after. It meant I could work from the kitchen table while they did their homework and from the couch while they huddled next to me if they were sick. And the whole taking it with me so I can have working vacations is priceless for me!

I have the exact same conundrum as you seem to have had. I get by with a desktop, but the thing I love about laptops is how personal they are. You can store all your music and photos on them, and travel with this informationa anywhere, whether to the local starbucks or half way across the world. Sadly I am yet to be able to afford one… maybe one day.
