Just because one person makes x amount of dollars a month doesn't mean the figure applies to all freelancer. So many factors contribute to income, and some people devote more time and energy to their businesses. @Opal: Flipping the script works. Yes, people will ask you how much you make. I get emails often. Occasionally I'll give people a ballpark figure within some of the posts I write but for the most part it really isn't their business.
